Everyone's favourite reality tv girlband, Girls Aloud are not splitting for good, nor continuing on solely as a four-piece, nor hate Nadine, or so their rep wants us to believe.
For the past week there has been intense speculation as it was announced, seemingly with great distain, that GA would continue on as a four-piece, leaving Irish girl Nadine Coyle out of the picture.
However, the group's rep has since stated that the band WILL continue on as a five-piece or as nothing else and plan to release their sixth album together something in the future, but no date has been revealed yet.
Nadine has been living in Los Angeles with famil since 2006, then retreating there after the band went on hiatus following their last album, 'Out Of Control'. Coyle was reported to be working on her solo album but the outcome of that endeavour has still not surfaced.
The 'it' girl of the group at the moment, Cheryl Tweedy has stated plans to release a new album next year following the huge success of '3 Words'. But while promoting her solo album Cheryl had stated that the band signed a three album deal (as a five-piece) before the hiatus and that those albums are just sitting there waiting to be made. Cheryl has had a very public battle with malaria and seems tied down to getting better and her X-Factor responsibilities.
TV's newest presenter, Girls Aloud northerner Kimberly Walsh has also stated that there wil hopefully be a tour in the works but doesn't see that occuring within the next year. Nicola, the fair beauty of the group, was quoted as saying the girls haven't spoken to Nadine since supporting Coldplay at Wembley.
These speculations, along with many others like Nadine hearing through Twitter that her bandmate was in intensive care with malaria, will always come and go but for now, it still seems like the girls have no plans to be Aloud for a while yet…
