Lostboy AKA Jim Kerr - She Fell In Love With Silence
Album Review

Lostboy AKA Jim Kerr – She Fell In Love With Silence

Merging swirling 80’s electronic tainted pop with a reflective ballad feel is how Simple Minds’ Jim Kerr chooses to keep his mark on music fresh. This is done through the sombrely sauntering single, ‘She Fell In Love With Silence’. A poetic maturity is helped along by the reflective tone of Kerr’s lingering echo that speaks of the virtues of solitude.

The ‘Simon Hayward Remix’, provides bolder bass and a digital tone to give off a creakier vibe that builds up into a more disco friendly offering.

Kerr nods back to his heyday with this sojourn, but also manages to communicate his continuing enthusiasm for music making.
