Monarchy Announce London Show

Monarchy, the fast rising, mysterious duo, sonically ambitious, with driving basslines, clean beats and soaring synths confirm two more live shows, including a main stage appearance at Big Chill and a London headline show in September. The bands new single, finally released on August 30th, the incredible vocal led, ‘Love Get Out Of My Way’ could just be the summer hit it deserves to be. An epic slice of future pop, shiny and dynamic.

With it’s rich textures it marks Monarchy out as two of the foremost pop musicians around, culturally aware, musically adventurous. Their bold aesthetic and uncompromising stand against the cult of celebrity has seen them open up new ways of doing things and in doing so they have created their own pop world.

With massive support from Radio 1, and already lauded in NME, Wonderland and the Guardian, 2010 looks like it will be Monarchy’s year. Look out for their debut album, released in the Autumn.

7th August | Big Chill, Main Stage at 3pm.
22nd September | XOYO, Cowper St, London
