Can Your Band Play Relentless Energy Sessions Festival?

The Relentless Energy Sessions Festival returns to London’s iconic music venue, The Relentless Energy Garage, this October. Expect a unique and eclectic live music experience from some incredible live acts, including Saturday’s night’s headliners, rock super group The Damned Things. New for 2010, Relentless Energy Drink, in partnership with MySpace, are now launching a search to find the opening act to the Relentless Energy Sessions Festival, judged by legendary punk outfit Gallows and drum n bass duo Chase and Status.

Let the search begin…

Launching this week, entrants can submit their band profiles to link for the chance to land their name on the line-up for the 2010 Relentless Energy Sessions Festival.

At the core of the Relentless Energy world is a drive and passion like no other, and Relentless Energy are searching for artists who demonstrate this obsession, perseverance, no compromise attitude and willingness to sacrifice to achieve their goals.

Relentless spokesperson, Sam Grant says “We're looking for more than just cutting edge music and want entrants to tell us a little about themselves, about the person behind the music, and give an insight into the minds of them as people and artists, and not just musicians.”

The closing date for entries is 23rd August 2010, where a shortlist of the top 20 acts will be announced. From this date, MySpace users will be able to vote for their favourite act, and all voters will be entered into a draw to win tickets to the Relentless Energy Sessions Festival. The top five acts will be judged by hardcore punk artists, Gallows alongside drum and bass act Chase & Status, to select the winner. Gallows and Chase & Status will also take part in two live video webchats with MySpace on the 13th and 19th August respectively, where fans can put their most probing questions directly to the acts.

The Relentless Energy Sessions Festival will take place over 3 nights from the 21st – 23rd October 2010 presenting 3 rooms of art installations and performances, cutting edge visuals, and the very best in live music. Last year’s inaugural Energy Sessions Festival featured three nights of big performances including The King Blues, Fenech Soler, Duke, Crazy P, The Irrepressibles and an entire night curated by NonClassical records. Expect the unexpected at this October’s festival and experience the world of Relentless Energy.
