Imagine a musical companion travelling with you across the unknown, through uncertain times, challenging encounters and further into the beautiful wilderness of eternity. A knowing voice with comforting songs of love and hope that fills the emptiest of souls with faith and promise. Franc is that companion; a gentle presence that does not demand your attention but positively inspires it.

This is Franc. His songs, his voice and his confidence are those of the ultimate musical troubadour. You will want to follow his voice everywhere. His songs shine smartly, cutting deep into your emotional heartland making you feel like you belong here, as you should, to the great natural cascade all around us.

Franc sings torch songs that unite and bring happiness, with undercurrents of the Italianesque corrido and a voice that gathers the tones of the great songsters of the American western migration – Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, the desperado chic of Gram Parsons, the New Orleans warmth of Randy Newman, the cool Canadian folk rock buccaneers, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell with Cat Stevens, Robbie Robertson (also a Canadian) and The Band, the hard working Italians (who built the cities of the North Eastern seaboard from New York to Baltimore) Bruce Springsteen and the venal mischief maker Frank Zappa.

It’s all there. It’s all in Franc’s voice. It is full of hope and promise; like the sun setting over the desert. It’s cool and beautiful and tomorrow is another day. The boundless force of Franc’s singing and the beautiful, child-like honesty shines through his songs. It has love at its heart – love you need, love we all need. It doesn’t judge – it just beckons you to listen. It beckons you to walk alongside, into the future, where there’s always hope.

Born in Rome, he’s lived in London for most of his life and has toured pubs, venues and front rooms from Hastings to Stornoway and in the USA, this year, playing in Pianos and The Living Room on Ludlow Street, Sidewalk Café and Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan New York, Third and Lindsley and the Basement in Nashville and random joints in Texas.

Goodtimes Goodtimes are currently recording their first studio album under the considerable production talents of Danton Supple of Definition Arts.

Due for release in the autumn of 2010, the first single, “Fortune Teller Song” is out this summer. Goodtimes Goodtimes begins touring again in late 2010.
