Libertines announce warm-up gig

The Libertines have announced, in the run up to their appearance at this year's Reading and Leeds festival, a one-off show at London's HMV Forum on August 25th.

However fans must register on the band's official website in order to be entered into the ticket ballot.

Reported by Digital Spy an official statement on Thelibertines.com states:

Register now for your chance to buy two tickets to this exclusive show. You have until 6pm on Friday 13th August to register. Winners will be randomly selected on Monday 16th August and sent a unique presale passcode and link to purchase tickets.

Successful applicants will then have until 10am on Wednesday 18th August to redeem codes and purchase tickets.

However the band who only reformed earlier this year are unsure whether they will write any new material after the festival shows.
