2009 saw Turbowolf establish themselves as a must see live act with blazing shows both sides of the Atlantic, including SXSW, Download, Offset and Dot To Dot. In Nov 2009 they put out the single ‘Let’s Die’, which revealed their explosive and innovative recorded sound. For the last 6 months the band have been locked in an underground studio putting together their debut album. It’s a mind-warping blast of genre-bending psyched-out rock n roll, with huge riffs smashing into even bigger choruses, and godzilla guitars battling screaming synths. Following on from their blistering set at Sonisphere last week, the band can now announce that they will be supporting Dinosaur Pile-Up on a UK this October. The tour will now coincide with the release of the first batch of new material, in the shape of ‘The Big Cut EP’ on 4th October. Each track demonstrates a different pillar of the bands unique riff temple. Turbowolf have been whipping up a media whirlwind, including spins on Daniel P. Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show, a Maida Vale session for Rob Da Bank, XFM Rock Show spins, a Kerrang introducing feature & spins on Kerrang Radio, inclusion in Classic Rock’s ACDC tribute as well as being featured on both Metal Hammer's 'Best New British Bands' compilation & also their Black Sabbath Tribute album.
