“The Uprising” is the key thematic track on the album and a fine addition to the classic tradition of the plucked and passionate rock-out protest anthem.

Sam says of the track:
“It’s about being in a mass of people, looking around and seeing people of all different ages and backgrounds and celebrating that solidarity of people coming together for one reason”

After being one of the first ever acts to be championed by Radio 1's Huw Stephens at a BBC Introducing open mic session at In The City in 2005, Sam returns to the Introducing Stage at Leeds Festival as special guest headliner. They will play the Dance To The Radio Stage on Thursday 26th August.

As well as playing a handful of summer festivals and a short burst of intimate venues, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly jet off on their tour proper in September and October, taking in London's Electric Ballroom on 13th October.
