Update: Peggy Sue Irish Tour

Brighton Folk/Blues warbling trio Peggy Sue are to make their return to these shores, having announced a week-long Irish tour with a concluding gig at the new Workmans Club venue in Dublin.

The band will play the following dates in Ireland next month:

Sept 12th: Open House Festival, Belfast (supporting Seasick Steve)
Sept 14th: Dolans, Limerick.
Sept 15th: Cyprus Avenue, Cork
Sept 16th: Roisin Dubh, Galway
Sept 17th: Clonakilty International Guitar Festival
Sept 18th: Clonakilty International Guitar Festival
Sept 19th: The Workman's Club, Dublin

Tickets for the Dublin gig go on sale tomorrow morning at the dirt cheap price of €10, get 'em while they're hot from Ticketmaster outlets!

Peggy Sue will showcase songs from their 2009 album Fossils And Other Phantoms. The tour will also include the band Sons Of Noel And Adrian.

The Workmans Club, a recently-opened venue situated in the heart of the cty, on Wellington Quay, has a capacity of 300 and is described as having “a top notch sound and lighting system and a whole wall full of Ballroom of Romance seating, resplendent in ripped brown leather and about 40 years of sweaty palm prints…
