Mystery Jets joked about the flooding at the Reading Festival site as they played their set at the sister Festival in Leeds.
The band played a lunchtime slot on the Main Stage on the first day of the 2010 event, with bassist Kai Fish making a quip to the audience towards the end of their set.
“You'll all be glad to know that it's pissing it down in Reading!” he laughed, with the Leeds fans, enjoying a sunny afternoon in contrast, cheering back at him.
The band played a six song set including their most popular track 'two doors down'.
They were watched by frontman Blaine Harrison's father Henry, who used to be a live member of the band as well as Maccabees frontman Orlando Weeks.
