Monday the 6th of September sees the launch of 'club LAZY GENIUS' at MOJO, a completely FREE weekly club night brought to you by LAZY GENIUS showcasing the very best unsigned bands from Liverpool and beyond plus tunes to delight your ears and stimulate your feet from the likes of…

British Sea Power | The Cribs | David Bowie | The Strokes | The Walkmen | Cold War Kids | Radiohead | The XX | Gang Of Four | The Rakes | Cold War Kids | Foals | The Sunshine Underground | Wild Beasts | The National | Yeah Yeah Yeahs | Gossip | Hot Hot Heat | Arcade Fire | The Rolling Stones | Blur | Beck | Grandaddy | The Jam | Vampire Weekend | The Stone Roses | Two Door Cinema Club | Blur | Friendly Fires | The Rapture | And many many more…

Tom Johnson, captain of the Lazy Genius vessel and the man behind the brand new night said…'We are really lucky to be working with such a great venue like MOJO, and to be able to launch a weekly live music indie club night that is completely free every week is very exciting. The aim is to keep the quality of bands at a very high level, hand picking our favourites from Liverpool but also booking exciting and emerging bands from across the country. In September and October alone we have the likes of Cal Roberts booked from North Wales, who's supported Pete Doherty in the past as well as Londoners 'To Arms Etc' and NME tipped 'Loose Talk Costs Lives.'

With drinks offers, give-aways and a steady stream of quality sounds on rotation the night is sure to be a hit with the students of Liverpool as well as a hub for local bands and those involved in the Liverpool scene.
