With “I Don’t Bite”, the third single from their latest album, “Barbara”, We Are Scientists combine the three time-tested necessities of a truly satisfying international radio hit: a catchy riff, a big chorus, and lyrics in English.
“Do I sing along to the riff, or the vocals?” listeners will wonder to themselves. The answer, of course, is to alternate.
After a summer of successful shows in the UK and abroad, including a big, badass set at “Glastonbury 2010: Sun”, We Are Scientists plan to tour for the rest of the year. Originally, they weren’t going to, but playing live has been more fun than they remembered, so now they are.
“Playing Barbara to living people is so f****** awesome”, believes singer Keith Murray.
“I Don’t Bite” is due for release on 11th October and fronted by some fantastic artwork from Alexa Chung.
The album “Barbara” is out now.
W.A.S. is Keith Murray, Chris Cain, and Andy Burrows.
