Ting Tings Return With New Hands

The Ting Tings, one of the 'Sounds Of..' for 2008, have triumphantly returned with a new sound, single and video!

The band have taken a very synth-heavy approach to their staple electro/soft rock fusion, encorporating a heavy 80's vibe with their first single Hands, as opposed to their guitar-driven debut.

Following their incredible success with debut album, We Started Nothing, which reached No.3 in Ireland and clinched the top spot in the UK Charts, the band took some time out to live life and to find themselves for their next release. The result has been a complete sound makeover and a more stylised image.

The Brit and Grammy-nominated duo wrote and recorded their new album, with a working title of Massage Kunst/Kunst in Paris and then Berlin. They have described the sound as a little darker and dancier, influenced by their Berlin surroundings. The title is a german word for art.

The new album is expected to be released later this Winter and the single is expected to be released on October 11th.
