Mark Ronson & the Business Intl will be setting bells ringing across the nation this autumn with the release of the second single from the hugely anticipated album, ‘Record Collection’, released September 27th on Columbia.
Featuring an all-star cast both behind and in front of the scenes, the track was written by Dave McCabe of the Zutons, who also wrote ‘Valerie’ which became a smash hit for Mark Ronson and his partner in crime Amy Winehouse after they covered it in 2007.
The perky, 1960s strut of ‘The Bike Song’ is layered with laid back vocals, which come courtesy of The View’s Kyle Falconer. The Scots rocker lends a languid element to the otherwise sprightly song which wheels along like a lost psychedelic pop classic.
