Ke$ha Announces First UK Headline Show

Worldwide pop phenom and singer/songwriter Ke$ha continues her 2010 domination as she announces her first-ever UK headlining show on December 14th at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire as part of her first ever European tour. Tickets for the show go on sale at 9am on Friday 24th September.

In the past year, Ke$ha has brought her irreverent music and life-of-the-party attitude to dozens of countries around the world, and she now hits the road in Europe to share her electro-fueled, frenetic and wonderfully crazy live show that is uniquely and definitively Ke$ha. With its four-on-the-floor massive hits and unmatched energy, these performances will undoubtedly leave all in attendance breathless, speechless and covered in glitter.

Ke$ha traveled the US this summer on her first arena tour with Rihanna, where the New York Times called her performance “purely joyous” and Q Magazine said “Ke$ha attacks her set with gonzo abandon, pulling cartwheels, wrestling dancers to the floor and encouraging an amused crowd to ‘take it all off’.”

Ke$ha’s debut album Animal (RCA Records / Kemosabe Entertainment) has sold over 15 million tracks and 2 million albums worldwide. Animal has been certified Gold or Platinum in six markets and is the biggest selling debut album from an international female in 2010 in the UK. Earlier this week, Ke$ha was also announced as a double nominee at the MTV Europe Music Awards in the categories of Best New Act and Best Push Act.

Earlier this month Ke$ha became the 11th solo female artist in the US to collect at least four Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s from a debut album when her current single “Take It Off” catapulted up the chart. She has sold over 13 million combined tracks and ringtones in the US alone to date, including her smash breakthrough single “TiK ToK' which has sold over 6 million combined units.
