With the release of his debut solo album ‘The Boxer’ in June, Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke has successfully established himself as a leading force in British dance-pop with a twist.
Praise and critical acclaim were bestowed on both the album (‘The Boxer’) and his two singles to date, ‘Tenderoni’ and ‘Everything You Wanted’.
The third single release, ‘On The Lam’ showcases the full-on electronic edge to Kele’s solo work.
Building on triumphant performances at this summer’s festivals and currently embarking on his debut US solo tour, Kele will head back out on tour in the UK in November. Taking in five key cities around our fair isle, the tour kicks off in Birmingham on Monday 15, takes in London’s Electric Ballroom on the 19 and rounds off in Bristol on Saturday 20.
