The Cat Empire October Tour

Aussie stars The Cat Empire are delighted to announce an October tour of the UK, returning to perform for ever-increasing crowds of fans converted by previous shows and enthusiastic world-wide word of mouth. The Cat Empire will arrive into the UK to a run of sold out shows come October and will perform their 800th live show in the UK in 2010.

Playing live is never far from the thoughts of The Cat Empire. In an age when so much of selling music seems to be about celebrity and fashion, The Cat Empire have risen to be one of Australia – and indeed the world’s favourite live acts through sheer musicality and the power of their interaction on stage. The band features vocalist Felix Riebl, trumpeter Harry Angus, keys player Ollie McGill, bassist Ryan Monro, drummer Will Hull-Brown and Jamshid Khadiwala (aka ‘Jumps’) on decks.

The band’s fourth album, ‘Cinema’ serves up a set of 11 tracks which captures the indestructible force – and sheer joy – of their mind-blowing live performances all delivered in a format perfect for lounge-rooms, backyards, BBQ’s, cafes, road trips and parties all over the world!
