World Sessions are a leading creative Events & Communications agency based out of London and Chamonix who for the last 5 years, have worked on over 70 events and party tours, including some of the largest freesport competitions and festivals in Europe from the infamous Gumball Rally to Glastonbury Festival.

World’s Sessions is built on the philosophy “Discover is everything, adventure is a religion and creativity is key” hosting a collection of events and a festival in the Alps which rings true of that mantra on every level.

Winter Sessions is a collection of music, art and snowsports events that sweeps through the French Alps each season culminating in the Winter Sessions Weekender in Chamonix – a three day festival on and off the slopes of the Mont-Blanc Massif with its heart and soul rooted in creating good times party vibes.

The explosive collection of Alpine parties has taken the mountains by storm over the last five years with an international line up of DJ’s, artists and MC’s creating some of the most exciting and unique events to be found in the Alps recently.

To celebrate the start of winter and give Londoner’s a taste of what to expect this season in the Alps, Winter Sessions are hosting an exclusive launch party at West London’s underground club, Ginglik. The lineup is an eclectic fusion of all the genres of music you might expect to hear during the Weekender. The all star line up features London broken beat honchos, Mark Force & Afronaut – Bugz In The Attic, Russ Jones aka Hackney Globe Trotter famed for his Latin, cumbia flavoured global beats, Marshmello, UK Red Bull Academy Winner and the lady behind infamous club night, 7 Under the Stairs and Amsterdam’s J.A.M on a dub step, d n b tip to get your head nodding alongside Mr Man of the Illesapien’s to inject his jazz driven lyrics that have been likened to Black Thought from The Roots.

Alongside the launch party, Winter Sessions vibes will be spilling out throughout the week at the London Ski & Snowboard Show at Olympia attracting more than 35,000 visitors each year. World Session’s creative and production team have designed and produced the Chamonix Pavilion area at the show which will showcase the best of what Chamonix has to offer – including Winter Sessions DJ’s and artists, featuring live performances from Jonny Tarr, World sessions own Uncle Joe, and local Chamonix players Prima Donna.

Supported by a five month DJ tour which jumps between some of the finest Alpine resorts including Meribel, Val D’Isere and Verbier once, The Winter Sessions Weekender festival will take place over the Easter weekend from Friday 22nd April to Sunday 24th April 2011. From Alpine Cake Baking to Ping-Pong with altitude, Fancy Dress to adrenalin pumped Base Jump Displays, the Weekender has it all. Bespoke, eclectic, boutique, unique – Winter Sessions is the definitive playground for snow loving grownups.
