Penguin Prison Confirms Next Single

Penguin Prison is back.

Chris Glover, the man behind the name, has been away since the release of his first two critically acclaimed singles, working on his debut album. ‘Golden Train’, the first single to be taken from the record, is released 22nd November.

The release picks up where Penguin Prison’s earlier singles left off. Great pop songs, drawing on Hot Chip, Talking Heads, Quincy Jones and Prince to make the kind of infectious contemporary pop that will not let go once it’s got you.

Having previously worked with Q-Tip, Alicia Keys and Holy Ghost!, Chris is now firmly establishing himself as one of the foremost purveyors of intelligent, liquid pop. He is also making a name for himself as a killer remixer too, recently reworking Marina And The Diamonds, Passion Pit, Kylie and more.

Early radio support has already come from Nick Grimshaw, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe, whilst his talents have already found praise from the NME, Guardian and Time Out amongst others.

Newly signed to Wall Of Sound, Penguin Prison is gearing up to the release of his debut album early in 2011.
