Mike Posner Announces UK Date

Fresh from causing waves with his already top-10 monster hit single ‘Cooler Than Me’, pop newcomer Mike Posner is set to release his debut album ‘31 Minutes To Takeoff’ on February 28th and has announced a one-off special UK show at Shoreditch’s XOYO on March 10th.

Working with the likes of Labrinth, Benny Blanco, Greg Kurstin and Boyz II Men, Mike fuses electro pop, rock, hip-hop, soul and R&B to create a genre bending blend of mainstream music that it’s cool to like.

Debut single ‘Cooler Than Me’ – a hot pop ode to a former crush – has proved to be a worldwide smash hit having dominated the charts worldwide for months and has to date had 2 million paid downloads.

Mike says: “I’m just making pop music that’s not corny, pop music that you don’t have to call a guilty pleasure, music you don’t have to be embarrassed about. I go everywhere pop artists go but without losing my credibility.”

Having started his career around 2 years ago by making mixtapes in his college dorm, Mike has since achieved cult status across the States and this adoration is quickly spreading across the world.
