B.o.B. – Magic
B.o.B is set to release “Magic (feat. Rivers Cuomo of Weezer)” on November 8 through Atlantic Records, the track is taken from his critically acclaimed Top 20 debut album B.o.B presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray, which was released here in May. He has also been confirmed to support Paramore on their upcoming UK arena tour which kicks off in Nottingham at the Trent FM Arena on November 8 and includes two dates at London’s O2 Arena on November 13 / 15.
“Magic” follows two massive UK number one singles – “Nothin’ On You (Feat. Bruno Mars)” and current single “Airplanes (feat Hayley Williams of Paramore)”. “Airplanes” hit the number one spot three weeks upfront of its official release and is still riding high in the top ten, combined the two tracks have so far sold in excess of 700,000 copies in the UK alone whilst worldwide sales are approaching 5 million with no sign of slowing. In the US B.o.B presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
B.o.B’s dates with Paramore in November will be the Atlanta rappers first return to the UK since he hit London at the end of May for a triumphant sold out show at Kings College. The Guardian declared – “B.o.B will be H.U.G.E.” (4 stars), whilst The Times said “In Britain we prefer our rap home-grown, but B.o.B is an exception…he bought a breath of fresh air back to rap.” (4 stars). Having just wrapped up a sold out US tour supporting Atlantic labelmate Lupe Fiasco B.o.B has just kicked off a headline tour of his own across the US.
“B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray”, sees the resourceful rapper producing the majority of the album by himself, while also playing multiple musical instruments, including piano, trumpet and French horn. In addition, B.o.B is joined by a star-studded line-up of surprising special guests, including Hayley Williams of Paramore, T.I., Eminem, Janelle Monáe, Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, Playboy Tre, and Lupe Fiasco. Endlessly inventive tracks such as “5th Dimension” and “Magic” offer a fascinating journey into a gifted new talent’s far-reaching imagination.
