Olly Murs releases his debut self-titled album on Epic Records/Syco on November 29. The release follows the outstanding success of his debut single ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’ which reached number one in September.
Olly’s new single ‘Thinking Of Me’ precedes the album on November 21. The track was co-written by Olly, with Steve Robson and Wayne Hector. The single will be available as a CD and download accompanied by new track ‘Sophie’ as a b-side.
Olly co-wrote most of the album with a host of collaborators, from Chris Difford (Squeeze) to Eg White and Trevor Horn. He says: “Epic could have gone to all these writers and said: ‘right, Olly’s not gonna be in the session, but we want you all to write a song’. If they’d have done that, we’d have had a collection of 30, 40 tracks. That would have been rubbish. Well, they’d all have been good, but they wouldn’t have had my personality in them.”
The tracklisting for ‘Olly Murs’ is:
1) Change Is Gonna Come
2) Please Don’t Let Me Go
3) Thinking Of Me
4) Busy
5) I Blame Hollywood
6) Ask Me To Stay
7) Heart On My Sleeve
8) Hold On
9) Accidental
10) Don’t Say Goodbye
11) Love Shine Down
12) A Million More Years
