The Temper Trap - Conditions Remixed
Album Review

The Temper Trap – Conditions Remixed

So you’re an indie afficionado and you loved Temper Trap’s debut album but you’re also really into the dubstep remixes currently circulating. Well your in luck as the two have got together, had a child out of wedlock and settled into a country home.

The remixed album is absolutely ace, even though at first I was a bit unsure due to the love I hold for tracks “Sweet Disposition” and “Science of Fear”. However, I soon got over that after listening to this album in full and fully appreciating what has been done to every track.

Each track has been remixed by different acts and you really get a flavour of their individuality on the tracks. I will not be surprised to see these remixed versions blearing through the streets in modified, beat up cars at ridiculous volume and simultaneously on underground dance floors up and down the country.

If you think Katy B is “on a mission” then you need to listen to Science of Fear after The Count (aka Hervè) got hold of it! Also Fool’s Gold’s version of Down River will have you grooving and rocking throughout. I also really like what bretonLABS and Kate Tempest have done to Drum Song, adding griming MC over the melodies of the track building more and more to the pinnacle.

Overall this album is a must have if you’re loving the dubstep movement but what to remain familiar with the band you know and love.
