B.O.B. Featuring Rivers Cuomo – Magic
B.o.B’s 3rd single is taken from one of this year’s most refreshing Hip-Hop albums ‘The Adventures of Bobby Ray’.
‘Magic’ features Weezer’s lead singer Rivers Cuomo and was created by producer Dr Luke. A head nodder, a party track and a sing along classic are all quotes you could label at this song but I would go for feel good anthem.
“I got the magic in me, every time I touch that track it turns into gold” is a fitting opening to this guitar-synth driven masterpiece as everything B.o.B has released so far has sold so well. B.o.B’s rapid raps and soulful ad-libs complete with River’s electro-pop voice make this a certain chart hit.
The only criticism I could possibly have is that this should have been released earlier in the year in the UK as it fits well as a perfect summer track, to be honest though I purchased the album when it was released so it’s been one of my personal play listed tracks for some time now and will warm your soul in this now freezing weather.
‘Magic‘ is released today and if you haven’t already purchased this track I recommend that you do so now.
