Thirty Seconds To Mars follow recent MTV EMA & VMA triumph with January 10th release of new single ‘Hurricane’.
Adding to their already memorable year including a sell-out arena tour, a Kerrang! Award for Best International Band and winning the prestigious MTV Video Music Awards for Best Rock Video for the track ‘Kings & Queens’, Thirty Seconds To Mars have gone on to collect the much-coveted MTV European Music Award for Best Rock Act.
Their progress continues through to the year’s close with the release of the deluxe edition of their current global hit album ‘This is War’ (which has been certified Gold) on November 22nd plus their second full UK arena tour of the year. Heading into the New Year, JANUARY 10TH marks the release of new single and live favourite ‘HURRICANE’ featuring Kanye West.
The deluxe edition of ‘This is War’ adds interpretations of Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ and West’s ‘Stronger’ that were originally recorded for BBC Radio’s 1’s Live Lounge. In addition, it will also be packaged with a DVD which includes videos for ‘Kings & Queens’ and ‘Closer To The Edge’ as well as exclusive behind the scenes footage.
Recently boosted with the addition of three extra shows due to phenomenal public demand, Thirty Seconds To Mars’ upcoming tour will see the band play to an audience of over 50,000 people. Support comes from Enter Shikari:
