Mighty Mouse Album News

Mighty Mouse release their new album, ‘Song With No Word’ on 6th December 2010 through History/Disco Circus Records.

After being tipped by Radio 1 as an ‘Act To Watch in 2010’, Mighty Mouse have released two critically acclaimed compilation mix albums, ‘Disco Circus Volume 1’ (Mixmag’s Top 10 album compilations of the year) and ‘Volume 2’, and have become Hype Machine. Cool Cuts, and Buzz Chart regulars with their much loved remixes for artists including Gorillaz, Robortum (feat. Au Revoir Simone), Morning Parade, Fenech Solar and Robbie Williams.

With plays on Radio 1 from Rob Da Bank, Jaymo and Andy George, and Annie Mac, and fellow artist love from the likes of Lemon Jelly, Andrew Weatherall and Aeroplane, Mighty Mouse are one of the UK’s most exciting prospects for 2011. The producer duo are currently in the studio recording material for their already anticipated full band album which will introduce singer Natalie Lewis, and is due for release in 2011.

'Song With No Word' was written whilst in the studio recording new material, and was born out of a passion to create a body of work rather than separate songs. It features ten movements which serve as an introduction to their melodic sound in which they have created a lucious electronic soundtrack.

“All everyone tells us is that the album is dying, so we wanted to write something that isn’t focused on singles. Now we’re working on songs WITH words and the full Mighty Mouse band, it feels like a natural progression.” (Mighty Mouse)

The limited edition CD features artwork from internationally acclaimed artist, Antony Micallef (link) and comes with a unique password that gives you access to exclusive online content, including a bonus movement and the story behind 'Song With No Word'.
