The Producers is a six part documentary series showcasing a selection of the most innovative and exciting producers in the world, working in the Red Bull Studio London as their creative hub. Episode 1 debuted last week featuring the irrepressible Toddla T and Dave Okumu of The Invisible.
This Wednesday sees Episode 2 drop, with legendary producer Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Wire, Erasure, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and much-loved London singer-songwriter Emmy The Great. Jones said of his studio technique, “I try to make as seamless a transition as possible between the rehearsal room and the recording studio.”
Stay tuned for more episodes featuring a selection of luminaries from the modern musical landscape including Mad Decent’s Diplo with the legendary Lee Scratch Perry, man of the moment Mark Ronson with Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt, and Klaxons kingpin Jamie Reynolds with lo-fi newbies The Cabin Fever.
