Buried Disc Details

This is one of those films you see and you hope that it does well; as it is a rare treat that only comes along once in a while and is as brave as any film can be. Add to that some wise direction and a convincing performance from the lead actor.

Directed by Rodrigo Cortes, Buried tells the terrifying ordeal of Paul Conroy (Ryan Reynolds) who is not ready to die. When he wakes up six feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the unassuming truck driver suddenly, without warning, becomes a hellish nightmare for survival.

Buried with only a mobile phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited.

Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time. Fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued.

Extras include:
Exclusive interview with Rodrigo Cortes
“Unearthing Buried” Making Of Featurette
Audio Commentary by Rodrigo Cortes
