Hercules And Love Affair Announce First Show Of 2011

New York’s Hercules & Love Affair perform their first UK show of 2011 at Heaven, 9 The Arches, Villiers Street, London WC2N 6NG on Wednesday 19th January 2011. Doors open at 7.00 pm.

Exclusively to HMV, tickets to the show are available bundled together with Hercules & Love Affair’s highly anticipated new album, ‘Blue Songs’. The CD album and ticket bundle are only available through link from Wednesday 1st December 2010 at 9.00 am.

Tickets are available bundled with the standard edition of the album for only £19.50 each, or without the album (ticket only) at £16.50 each.

The newly announced Heaven show follows on from the band’s European Tour supporting The Gossip.

‘Blue Songs’ is the follow-up to the band’s eponymous debut album released in March 2008 and featuring Antony Hegarty (Lead singer from Antony and the Johnssons). Debut single ‘Blind’ was a worldwide club smash and the album garnered considerable critical and commercial acclaim. The new album features new vocal collaborators including Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke.

'Blue Songs' will be released on Moshi Moshi / Co-operative Music on Jan 31st preceded by the single My House on January 24th.
