Best Coast Announce Biggest Show To Date

Best Coast are set to play their biggest UK show to date
on Friday 29th April 2011 at London’s Koko. Tickets are on sale now.

The news comes in the wake of three sold out shows this week in Manchester, Birmingham and at London’s Scala last night where Bethany Cosentino and co. wowed with a 19-song set of breezy surf-pop perfection.

Best Coast play All Tomorrow’s Parties Bowlie 2 curated by Belle & Sebastian on Friday 10th December at Butlins in Minehead.

Best Coast’s debut album Crazy For You was released in August on Wichita Recordings and has been hailed by many as one of 2010’s best albums. The NME summed it up in their 8/10 album review when they said “Best Coast have shot straight to the top of the pile for two reasons: great songs, and immense charm” before naming Best Coast their No.1 favourite new band of 2010 and 23 year old songwriter Bethany Cosentino No. 4 in their annual Cool List.

The album entered the UK Top 75 and US Top 40 upon release and first single Boyfriend was a runaway hit online, topping the No.1 spot on blog aggregator site Hype Machine no less than five times.

Best Coast are Bethany Cosentino (vocals/guitar) Bobb Bruno (bass) and Ali Koehler (drums).
