Bring Me The Horizon Are Officially MySpace's Most Popular Act

In figures released this week, wildly popular Sheffield metallers BRING ME THE HORIZON were announced as the No.1 most popular band, of any genre, according to one of the UK’s most visited websites – Myspace.

The results were based on fan votes, song plays, video plays and page views and BMTH placed higher than many mainstream megastars such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Florence + The Machine and Eminem. This comes as truly landmark news for British music and British Metal, especially for a band so unrelentingly heavy, whom have risen to become one of the UK’s most prominent bands entirely on their own terms.

The poll is yet more evidence of BMTH’s worldwide success, following fantastic mainstream worldwide chart success with their recent album, features in national broadsheet newspapers, countless worldwide magazine covers and sellout tours.
