RocketClover Launch Christmas Indie Number 1 Campaign

German rockers RocketClover are launching their own Rage Against the Machine-esque assault on the charts with a tongue-in-cheek rendition of ‘Anarchy in the UK’

While the Christmas charts are generally monopolised by big labels and X Factor winners, Rage Against the Machine’s shock no.1 last year has got many excited at the prospect of something similar this year and RocketClover are looking to storm the indie charts in time for the festive season.

The video sees the band skip hand in hand down Camden High Street in green dungeries, being chased by punks, cleaning up the streets and demonstrating perhaps everything that Anarchy is not!

Signed to Criminal Records, the three-piece act first found success through a Youtube for Metallica tributes and since then, have released a full Metallica acoustic covers album which has seen them win fans worldwide.

The track ‘Anarchy in the UK’ by RocketClover is out Monday 13th December, with the bulk of proceeds going to a charity of Criminal Records choice.
