T.I. To Release Seventh Studio Album

The Grammy-winning rapper T.I. returns with his 7th studio album No Mercy, released on Monday 24th January on Grand Hustle / Atlantic Records.

No Mercy follows T.I.’s sensational Gold album Paper Trail – which gave him two UK hit singles ‘Live Your Life’ (no. 2) and ‘Dead and Gone’ (no.4) – and once again sees T.I. teaming up with the crème of the crop of the R&B, hip-hop and pop world with guest appearances from Kayne West, Eminem, The-Dream, Christina Aguilera and Chris Brown. The latter features in the albums first poignant smash hit single ‘Get Back Up’ (out now) which playlisted on BBC 1 Xtra and Choice . Watch the video here:

The production comes from equally impressive producers including Dr. Luke (‘Magic’, ‘Right Around’), Danja (‘My Love’, ‘Knock You Down’) and Jim Jonsin (‘Whatever You Like’, ‘Lollipop’).

T.I. spent the past summer gracing the covers of numerous major USA publications: XXL, Complex, Respect, YRB, Jet and Upscale, as well as TV appearances on Today Show, Larry King Live, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Mo’Nique Show, The Wendy Williams Show and E!’s Chelsea Lately. In the UK, his 18 million album sells have been reflected in the cross section of press he’s graced from specialist urban magazines such as RWD to big broadsheets such as Guardian.

T.I. recently re-launched his massively popular link website on the Cisco Eos platform. The rapper’s new official site includes a wide range of exclusive content as well as community forums where fans can discuss T.I. and upload their own unique videos and photos. In addition to his own music, T.I. was featured on several summer smash singles – Diddy-Dirty Money’s ‘Hello, Good Morning (Feat. T.I.)’ Jamie Foxx’s ‘Winner (Feat. Justin Timberlake & T.I.)’ and Rebel Rock Entertainment/Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist B.o.B’s ‘Bet I (Feat. T.I. & Playboy Tre)’. The latter track – surely one of the highlights of B.o.B’s #1 blockbuster debut album – ‘B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby’ – catapulted onto Billboard’s Hot 100 as well as the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Digital Songs charts.

As if all this weren’t enough, T.I. took to the big screen this summer in Screen Gems/Grand Hustle Films’ ‘Takers’, which debuted at number one at the USA box office. The high-octane action thriller – the first to be produced under the Grand Hustle Films banner – saw the multi-talented performer again working with a star-studded ensemble, this time in the form of a case that includes Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen, Michael Ealy, Chris Brown, and Zoe Saldana.
