Metals & Boxwars are back! The genre defying outfit has again teamed up with card board warriors Boxwars with visual artist Holly-Anne Buck to challenge our perception of violence in modern times.
This collaborative venture resulted in three scale models of Kalashnikov Machine guns, decorated in such a way to address the banality of gun usage and ownership in contemporary society.
Those of you who have seen Metals debut video for single ‘Drop Your Guard’ featuring Boxwars will have a taster of this meeting of creative worlds, and now this current exhibition adds another string to the bow.
Holly-Anne Buck (aka Touch Me Tiger) is a visual artist from Melbourne, Australia.
She is the artist behind the world of MINK ENGINE, producing conceptual motion video, live VJing, props, websites and original artworks.
Holly-Anne appears in live art shows in galleries and art spaces around the world, creating artworks on wood or canvas using collage and paint. ‘Touch Me Tiger’ delves deeply exploring the relationship between sound and pictures getting her fingers all over everything in-between.
Live-drawing and free drinks at the Opening
The exhibition will be open from 23rd December-3rd January on selected days.
