Pilotlight announce new Single “South”

Pilotlight have announced the release of their new single South due out through Glasstone Records on the 31st January 2011. Fresh from touring thier native Ireland the band are back to follow up their critically acclaimed debut album The Post War Musical with this download only single. Their debut is full of slow burners like this, well thought out songs that will sneak up on you gradually, weaving their way through your conciousness until it's all you can think of. If you're new to the band South is a perfect introduction, one part Elbow, two parts Buckley. A fine balance of ambience and power that not many bands can master. Ones to watch in 2011 for sure.
