Fresh from a hugely successful 2010, Rose Elinor Dougall has announced her next single, a new version of Start/Stop/Synchro.
Originally released as a single back in 2009, this new, exclusive mix of Start/Stop/Synchro has been given a resplendent makeover from Tom Elmhirst (Amy Winehouse/Hot Chip/ Cee Lo Green) and is released through Scarlett Music on February 28th.
The release of debut album, Without Why in August 2010 saw an avalanche of positive press (see below) with many reviews pointing towards Start/Stop/Synchro as a criminally ignored single. In fact it was upon hearing the original S/S/S back in June 2009 that persuaded Mark Ronson to bring her over for songwriting and performing duties on his Record Collection album (contributing to 3 tracks in total). Rose is now a member of his ‘Business Intl’, singing and playing with the band live as well as heading into the studio this year to work on a new album.
Rose is currently working on the album, with a tentative release date of Autumn 2011.
