FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND have unveiled a music video for brand new track ‘Front Row Seats To The End of The World’ which will be released as a free download on 24th January.
The track is featured on the band’s forthcoming new album ‘Welcome Home Armageddon’ which will be released on 14th March through Distiller Records.
New track ‘Front Row Seats To The End of The World’ is a visceral explosion of riffs, screams and melody is one that fans of the band already know and love but the constant shifts of gear in rhythm and twists and turns in this track will keep everyone guessing as to what’s round each corner.
Drummer / vocalist Ryan Richards takes the lead on ‘Front Row…’ and he comments – “It was a lot of fun for me to do a lead vocal again on a track, as it's probably something I've not done since way back on the first record – and even then it was a co-vocal with Matt on tracks like 'Red Is The New Black' and 'This Year's Most Open Heartbreak'. It's also the first track I've ever done finger snaps on too! I remember reading the liner notes to Michael Jackson's 'Bad' and seeing him credited with 'Vocals and Finger Snaps' and it inspired me to one day be credited as such on one of our albums. I've now dreamed the dream – and it's a beautiful thing.”
It’s a taster of what’s to come on Funeral For A Friend’s fifth studio album, produced by Romesh Dodangoda, which will be released through Distiller Records in March. The band will also hit the road in March / April next year with a string of dates at intimate venues, some of which are in towns they’ve never actually played before. Support on these dates will come from fast rising British band Rise To Remain. The tour has now been expanded due to high demand.
