Royal Wedding Fancy Dress Theme announced for Volvo Snowbombing Metro Street Party

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the good folks at Volvo Snowbombing are proud to announce that this year’s fancy dress theme has got blue blood running through it! Hang out the bunting, take the day off and party in true Volvo Snowbombing style as we turn a little piece of Austria red, white and blue by throwing the biggest Royal Wedding Street Party anywhere outside the UK at the Metro Street Party! How jolly exciting!

The fancy dress theme for the day will be attending as either a member of the wedding party or a guest! This could be Kate or Wills (we’ll have masks you can wear), Prince Charles (we’ll have ears you can wear) or a dignitary, a World leader, military type or celebrity guest like Elton John, or Lady Ga Ga! Think outside the royal box and get ready for the silliest shindig this side of Buckingham palace!

We will also be decking the streets with The World’s Longest Bunting (a World Record attempt no less) and will be asking Snowbombers to bring their own something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue to create the flags! Think trestle tables, commemorative mugs and tea towels as Volvo Snowbombing throws a right ruddy royal knees up Liz herself would be proud of!

We’re also looking for our own happy couple – who will be joined in wedded bliss at the Volvo Snowbombing Metro Street Party and who will receive a confetti-strewn, horse-drawn ride from the party to a bridal suite!

All-in-all, it’s a right royal do with 6000 people and will have more people talking than a Duke of Edinburgh gaffe! Wunderbar!

And that’s not all! Back once again to wow you lucky Snowbombers with another of their sickeningly good white hot party sets will be the amazing 2ManyDjs, the amazing Reverend Sound System (lets hope Revered doesn’t break another limb this year!) and a whole host of amazing DJs including Agoria, Jaguar Skills, Plump Djs and loads more!

All artists will be playing once-in-a-lifetime shows in the most awesome venues this side of Neptune; in huge igloos and alpine forests… on snowy plateaus and in medieval barns surrounded by the UK & Europe’s finest ambassadors of nonsense and madness. With mountains for a perimeter fence and over 150 miles of powdery piste to play on between bands!
