The Razzie Award Nominations 2011
Just to get the spectrum going – we present to you the Razzie Nominations for 2011.
A predictable list if anything. Some are shocked by the appearance of the third Twilight film. Mark Kermode himself has expressed his thoughts on having Twilight stuck in the same category as Vampires Suck. He may have a point there, but then again – people who don’t like the Twilight films, really DON’T like them! The aforementioned critic has admitted his like for them – so his comments are not going to really make much sense.
Myself, I am a loather of all things twilight and am constantly surprised at how well they are received. So it gives me joy to see it on the list as I really did list it as one of the worst I had seen – yes and Vampires Suck as well.
But each too their own. Doctor Kermode loathes the Pirates film, whereas I seem to like them quite a lot? So it takes all sorts to be a critic. Anyway – here are the nominations. You decide for yourself which is and is not justified!
