Hey Kyla, Happy New Year, Got Any Exciting News/Plans For 2011?
Happy new year to you also. Yes, I'm going to play lots of gigs and finish recording my first album, hopefully.

Tell Us A Little Bit About Your New Single?
It's called Walk through Walls. It's partly about staring at a ceiling from the floor in a house you don't want to be in, and partly about other things. It's nice for people to be able to take their own interpretation of it.

What Was The Motivation Behind This New Project?
I just finished recording a lot of new songs that will go on my first album, and we felt it was the right time to release one of them.

How Would You Describe Your Sound?
I'm rubbish at this question, sorry. Erm, it's a sort of guitar-driven choral epically-sad mashing together of a few genres. Mainly just inspired by sadness.

Who & What Inspires you to create music?
Being depressed, or lonely, or sad, and any depressed, lonely or sad people. Any of those will do. God forbid I should ever write a happy song

Your Debut Double A Side Single ” Walk Through Walls’/ 'Courage' through Noir” Is Available from the 7th March, what can fans expect from this single?

Any Plans On Releasing An Album This Year?
I don't know. I would like to, because I have written all the songs for it, but we'll have to see. These things always take longer than you plan for.

Any Tours Or Gigs coming up?
Yes, I'm playing at The Bull & Gate in Kentish Town on the 8th of February, at SXSW in Texas is March, and hopefully lots of summer festivals.

What Can Fans expect from you in the future?
More music about being sad I should imagine.
