Sick Puppies – Maybe
In a world where rock music is being declared ‘over’, and the rise of pop and R&B has all but squeezed guitar bands out of the charts on both sides of the Atlantic, Sick Puppies are bursting through and setting the US charts alight with their hit single ‘Maybe’.
Far and away the biggest rock song at American radio from coast to coast, with massive support across the board from US Pop Radio, Hot AC and US Alternative Radio, ‘Maybe’ is keeping the flag flying for rock music and proving to be the biggest mainstream US hit a rock band has had in months.
Sick Puppies are in the middle of their debut UK tour, with their SOLD OUT Borderline gig in London happening this Thursday (Feb 3rd). In the meantime ‘Maybe’ has started to gain mainstream attention here with it even being used by Sky Sports in their recent soccer coverage.
The band’s debut album ‘Tri-Polar’ is released on April 4th and touches on an eclectic array of contemporary rock sounds, marrying a jagged rhythmic punch and heavy grunge drone with pop-punk sensibilities and a radio-friendly sheen.
Sick Puppies have just announced their biggest US headline shows to date and will be back in the UK later in the Spring with plans afoot for festivals across Europe.
