The Garden Festival Parties Announced

Wow! Everything’s sizzling hot at the Garden Festival Croatia – and it’s only February! The Garden Get Together tour has just kicked off, taking in some of the UK’s leading clubs, which leads into a merry jaunt across some of Europe’s finest party-places too. The first wave of acts has been announced for this summer’s sun-kissed fun, featuring many debuts to savour including Larry Heard, Robert Owens, Art Department, Soul Clap, Electric Wire Hustle and Motor City Drum Ensemble.

And now there’s more news glittering on the horizon – The Garden Festival is incredibly proud to announce Odyssey are playing live in July. The New York legends were responsible for some of the most well-known grooves in the 1980s, including the infectious Use It Up And Wear It Out and timeless classic Inside Out, an enervating hands in the air disco edit. Their uplifting, hands-in-the-air music perfectly encapsulates a loved-up sky-starred evening at The Garden. The festival also welcomes hotly-tipped New Zealand-based band Electric Wire Hustle to the fore; their psych-tinged soul music has already won them many plaudits, and they are all set to entrance a little pine-shaded slice of paradise on the Adriatic coast…

And don’t forget the complete schedule of boat and club parties have just been released too. A visit to the Garden simply isn’t complete without taking time to check out life on the ocean waves with the salty old sea dog The Argonaughty, and the loving restored Barbarellas Discotheque – complete with Funktion 1 sound and air-con – is the only way to see out the night and welcome the sun’s glorious rise.

For many, the legendary Argonaughty parties embody the spirit of the Garden; lazy afternoon and bouncing evening parties on the open waves, catching the last sun’s rays to a soundtrack of broken beat, deep house, disco and more…
