Sweden’s Those Dancing Days release I’ll Be Yours on 28th February, the first single proper from their new album Daydreams and Nightmares (released 7th March, 2011 on Wichita Recordings). I’ll Be Yours is a blissfully pure pop song, a sweet-hearted counterpart to the fiery synth-punk of NME Track of The Week Fuckarias (available now as a free MP3 from the band’s site link>
The heart-warming clip was directed by Andreas Öhman and filmed in Sweden and the UK during the band’s recent December dates which included a rapturously received late night set at the Belle & Sebastian curated All Tomorrow’s Parties. At ATP, Stuart Murdoch from the Glasgow band dueted with TDD on new album track One Day Forever and Linnea sang with B&S during their headline set on Lazy Line Painter Jane.
Those Dancing Days play an NME Awards Show in London on 21st February as part of an extensive European tour before heading to the US for shows including South By Southwest.
