So you like Zombie movies – yes? you love music, yes? Great – Well you going to love this…Imperial Leisure are back with a new single ‘Dead Model’ which will be released on March 14th on their own label Steam Roller Records.
The band has teamed up with director Brandon Cleaves to produce this rather fantastic zombie/ghoulish video promo for their single which features Front Magazine model Von as a zombie!!!
PAY ATTENTION! The first single from Imperial Leisure’s long-anticipated sophomore album ‘Death to the One Trick Pony’ will be released on March 14th.
Capturing the beautiful chaos that is their infamous live show ‘Dead Model’ is a good indication of the album to come. Darker and grittier than its predecessor ‘The Art of Saying Nothing’, the party is still very much in full swing, though the casualties may be racking up!
Managing to be both intense and dance-able and insanely catchy, it carries the Imperial Leisure guarantee of crowd and band alike having the time of their lives.
Recorded with producer Paul Tipler (Placebo, Stereolab, Idlewild, The Charlatans), ‘Death to the One Trick Pony’ will be released on the band’s own Steamroller Records in May 2011.
