Alex Winston To Headline NME Awards Show

Hotly-tipped Alex Winston returns to the UK to play the NME Shockwaves Awards next week. This show will also mark the release of her highly anticipated debut mini album ‘’Sister Wife’. All tracks on ‘Sister Wife’ were written by Alex and produced by The Knocks (Rhianna, Ellie Goulding) and the award winning Charlie Hugall (Florence and the Machine).

Detroit born Alex Winston announces the release of her debut mini-album, ‘Sister Wife’ out on March 4th (digitally on Feb 21st) through Heavy Roc (The Knocks’ label). ‘Sister Wife’ follows Winston’s critically acclaimed 7” single ‘Choice Notes’ which was released summer 2010. Alex is fresh from playing a string of European dates including a headline NME Awards Show at The New Players Theatre and a New To Q show in January. Alex also recently headlined the legendary Communion club founded by Mumford and Sons at its US debut.
