Howling Bells today announce their first live show confirmed for 2011. The band, who have been working on songs for their third album with The Killers’ Mark Stoermer, will play at London’s Scala on Monday May 9th.
Tickets for the show, priced £10, are available now from: gigsandtours.com
Howling Bells – Sydney-born, London-based and led by mesmeric frontwoman, Juanita Stein, first came to the fore with their eponymous debut album in 2006. 2009’s critically-acclaimed Radio Wars followed, along with extensive touring around the world. Last October, the band headed to Las Vegas, and The Killers’ own Battle Born Studios, to work on songs for their new record, with Mark Stoermer taking up the producer’s reins for the first time.
The first fruits of Howling Bells’ desert sessions will be released in the form of an EP this May, more details of which soon. The full album will follow later in 2011.
