Howdy Do?, the alternative rootsy club night forged beneath the London Soho streets at The Borderline between 2006 and 2008, is getting ready for its 3rd Little Festival at the Relentless Garage in London, Islington, on THURSDAY 3rd March 2011 from 6.00 pm and Fri 4 March.
The evening is set to be filled with the exciting music – that should, and probably will melt everybody’s heart with music from artists that are all influenced by rootsy music, but who have added their own little twist to it.
The original club night has already featured some amazing bands and troubadours that have gone on to big adventures and even sold out venues, including, MUMFORD & SONS, ALBERTA CROSS, NOAH & THE WHALE, ALESSI, FANFARLO, KITTY DAISY AND LEWIS, THE VEILS, DAN SMITH, EUGENE MCGUINNESS, PEGGY SUE, LIAM FROST, CHERBOURG, THE NEW YORK FUND and many more…
The Little Howdy Do? Festival launched in 2007 at The Borderline with a week full of memorable performances from LIAM FROST, MUMFORD & SONS, THE CRIMEA, KITTY DAYS & LEWIS, PEGGY SUE and many more amazing acts.
The 2nd edition last year happened at The Garage in Islington and featured KITTY DAISY & LEWIS, BOBBY LONG, MEGAFAUN, 6 DAY RIOT, GIDEON CONN, MATTHEW & THE ATLAS, PETE ROE and THOMAS J SPEIGHT.
