An exhibition featuring the work of legendary rock photographer Gered Mankowitz will take place in Edinburgh this month.
Mankowitz spent two years as the Rolling Stones’ personal photographer in the 1960s. He has also captured iconic images of many of the greats during his 40 year career, including Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Marianne Faithfull, Small Faces, Traffic, The Yardbirds and The Jam.
The exhibition is primarily focused on Hendrix with a sprinkling of Stones’ shots, including some photos that have never been exhibited before.
The venue is The Dome on George Street in Edinburgh and it will run from 8th to 12th March.
