Sound of Guns - XOYO
Live Review

Sound of Guns – XOYO, London

XOYO is the sort of venue where no matter what night you go, you’re fairly guaranteed to see a band worth standing up for. Usually, new signings & artists hyped up to the max.

Sound of guns are no exception, getting some great buzz in press-land they don’t fail to live up to it on stage, the show’s tight as hell & the audience reaction is nothing but positive.

It’s refreshing to see a band from Liverpool ACTUALLY sounding like they’re from Liverpool, there’s nothing worse than seeing a band shun their regional roots.

Out of the set there are some stand out favourites, ‘Architects’ is a particular favourite, delivered with absolute sincerity.

I’m looking forward to seeing more from Sound of Guns. The album ‘What came form fire’ (released last year) is a great indicator of what’s set to come from these guys… if you get the chance, I fully recommend checking these guys out, and if not, do yourself a favour & listen to the album which is currently available on Spotify/ iTunes etc…
