Feeder are releasing a charity single to benefit the victims of the recent Japanese earthquakes and tsunami.

Side By Side will be released on Sunday (March 27). All profits will go to the British Red Cross Japan Tsunami appeal.

Frontman Grant Nicholas said: “Japan has always been very close to our hearts and through our music we want to help the people who have lost their families, homes and loved ones.”

Bassist Taka Hirose, who is Japanese, added: “Lots of people are suffering from this horrific disaster. Nuclear radiation fear and aftershocks are still continuing. Can you please help the people in my country by supporting this single? They and I will be so grateful.”
